A GROUP of school children escaped unhurt after an agricultural vehicle ploughed into the side of a minibus in High Bentham.
Police said the Volkswagen Transporter vehicle, which was carrying local school children and was stationary at the time, and a Mercedes Uni-Mog vehicle were in collision at the junction of Main Street and Robin Lane.
Nobody was injured following the accident but oil and fluid from one of the vehicles leaked around 40 yards and the road was closed for around four hours to allow fire crews to make the area safe using sand.
The incident took place at around 4.11pm on Wednesday, May 9 and the road was re-opened with warning signs at around 8.08pm.
