POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses after a motorist towing a caravan collided with a petrol pump at Plantation Bridge filling station, between Kendal and Staveley.
The black Kia Sorrento is said to have hit the pump at around 4.25pm on September 27, causing ‘significant’ damage.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, particularly the witness who provided the licence plate number to the garage.
