A GOOD turnout is expected at this year's Lunesdale Show which has already seen queues of people come through the gates.
Show-goers to Underley Park, Kirkby Lonsdale, can expect the usual bounty of entertainment today (August 11).
A display of vintage vehicles, a tempting food hall and birds of prey are among the traditional offerings.
MORE TOP STORIES:
Show secretary Gill Gibbs said: "We've had excellent entries all round, particularly sheep entries.
"Horse entries are up and we've got more cattle than last year in dairy, beef and calf classes."
And visitors are grunt treated to a new class in the main ring called scurry driving where horses are driven between cones.
"There are nine entries which were very happy with considering it's the first year," added Ms Gibbs.
