Cumbrians are being asked to vote for their favourite woodland in the county in a popularity poll by the Friends of the Lake District.
The county's woodlands are a special feature of the landscape, with some of national importance such as those in Borrowdale and the Duddon Valley for nature conservation.
People can vote online by visiting www.fld.org.uk by selecting their favourite woodland from a list of eight of the county's best-known woodlands.
The winning woodland will be announced at the end of March.
The online vote is part of the Friends of the Lake District's year of campaigning on the theme of Cumbria - It's Your Landscape, which aims to encourage Cumbrians to enjoy and celebrate the special qualities of the county's landscape.
