A KENDAL supermarket is giving shoppers the opportunity to improve its local environment by funding the green volunteering campaign CSV Action Earth.
In England and Wales, Morrisons supermarkets is to provide 750 voluntary groups with £50 grants to help kick-start community environmental projects in their local area.
Volunteers from Kendal can apply for a grant by visiting the Kendal store and picking up an application pack from the customer service desk. Projects must improve the local environment, involve volunteers or meet a local community need. To find out more visit www.csv.org/actionearth.
