MORECAMBE head into tonight's must-win Conference clash with Northwich Victoria with boss Sammy McIlroy demanding his players be patient as they hunt three vital points.
The Shrimps were beaten for the third time in four games at Burton on Saturday after two defensive mistakes cost them dear.
But Morecambe dominated the game for long periods and McIlroy says: "They were hanging on at the end.
"It will be tough tonight because Northwich have a lot to play for at the other end of the table. It is as bigger game for them as it is for us and they will make it difficult for us.
"So we need to be patient. The players have to be patient and the fans have to be patient."
Michael Howard (hip) is unlikely to be fit but should return for Saturday's clash with Woking, while Garry Thompson (sore throat) is expected to recover in time for the game.
