BUDDING young entrepreneurs will be showcasing their innovative ideas in Ulverston this week.
The Coronation Hall will host the South Cumbria area final of the Young Enterprise competition tomorrow (Thursday) with student companies from across the district battling for a place in the county final.
Young Enterprise aims to give young people experience of how business works by conceiving, developing and marketing their own products.
Vice chairman of Young Enterprise South Cumbria Gemma McMullen said this year's area final promised to be an exciting one.
"With enterprise education now on schools' agendas we are seeing the entrepreneurs and managing directors of the future in our student companies. This year's flagship event will be an excellent competition."
