DOZENS of people lined the streets of Sedbergh as the famous Wilson Run took place in wintry conditions across the nearby fells and roads this afternoon (Tuesday).
A flurry of snow greeted the runners at the start line as family and friends lined the course to cheer on this year's entrants.
A record number of girls entered this year's race with 23 braving the ten-mile course in muddy conditions.
In first place was Simon Barnby with a time of 01:09:36 - just over a minute outside the record set back in 1993.
Second place went to Alex Newcombe with a time of 01:19:19 and third was Will Steven with a time of 01:23:03.
