District Commissioner Linda Bowden with leaders of The Fourth Kendal Scout Group
The efforts and hard work of Scout leaders in Kendal were recognised by District Commissioner Linda Bowden.
She visited a troop meeting of The Fourth Kendal Scout Group, where she praised the leaders for their commitment to Scouting and the work that they did with young people.
She handed out Medals of Merit to Tom Slater (Scout Leader) and Assistant Leaders John Bigland and Steven Edmondson.
Absent was Steven Wrigley, who received a Ten Year Certificate. Ben Cook and Alistair Mackenzie were awarded their Wood Badges, which symbolises completion of their Leadership Training.
