MEMBERS of a scrutiny task group examining new NHS plans for so-called CATS centres in Cumbria have given their views on the health shake-up.
The task group said it is broadly supportive of plans for the Clinical Assessment, Treatment and Support centres in Cumbria.
However, it said that this was providing CATS centres did not jeopardise the ability of hospitals in the county to deliver a full range of emergency services.
