THE first passenger train to travel through Cumbria since the Grayrigg derailment completed its journey this morning (Monday).
The 5.10am Manchester Piccadilly to Glasgow Central passed the points at Grayrigg shortly before 7am today.
More than 300 workers and dozens of plant and machinery have been working on site to get the railway reopened.
Several of the casualties, including driver Iain Black, remain in hospital.
