KIND-hearted Kendalians have been digging deep to help the family of a little boy paralysed by cerebral palsy to buy a special new wheelchair.
Following an appeal in The Westmorland Gazette in February, residents and businesspeople have rallied round to raise more than half the £3,500 needed to enable little Joshua Askew to play out with his school friends.
And from Monday to Friday (March 12 to 16), Barclays Bank, in Kendal, is offering to match any donations made to little Joshua's Wheelchair Fund, pound for pound.
To find out how you can contribute, and some of the other events to help Joshua, see the March 9 edition of The Westmorland Gazette.
