THE new seat of higher education in Cumbria reached out to its future students with the launch of its first prospectus.
Copies of the University of Cumbria's prospectus were released this week containing information on the institution, new courses starting in September 2008 and what it is like to live in the county itself.
The booklet, which is being sent to schools, sixth forms and colleges nationwide, will have to compete with hundreds of prospectuses from other universities for applications from students.
Anyone interested in finding out more about studying in Cumbria can also refer to the University of Cumbria's new website at www.cumbria.ac.uk.
