A MAN from Portsmouth who has been missing from his home for more than a week could be in the South Lakes or Lancashire area.
Gary Mason, 38, was last seen at 5.55pm on Wednesday, February 28 when he left St Mary's Hospital, where he works as a driver.
Mr Mason is described as 6' 2" with cropped light brown hair and was last seen wearing his work uniform of black trousers, boots, a shirt with blue epaulettes and a navy blue bomber jacket with the name EZEC written on the back in white letters.
He has a number of tattoos, the most visible of which are a heart on his right arm with the name Kyle written on it and another heart on his neck with the name Charlie.
Police believe he might be in the local area after a letter with a Lancashire postmark was received at his home address at Burleigh Road on Monday (March 5), and he is believed to be driving a silver Vauxhall Zafira with the registration Y747 UCR.
Anyone who believes they have seen Mr Mason or his car since February 28 or has any information about his location should contact Fratton Police Station on 0845-045-45-45 or call Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
