BARROW-in-Furness-based production company Shoreline Films is to host a series of free professional workshops focusing on digital video and editing.

A beginners course in essential skills for digital video shooting will be held on March 10 and 11 and an intermediate course will be held on March 17 and 18.

Professional broadcast cameraman Peter Croskery and Broughton-based camera operator Jane Rousseau, whose credits include League of Gentlemen and Cutting It, will lead the two-day practical courses.

A digital editing workshop, led by professional editor Nick Gibbons, will also be held on March 13 to 17 and will include demonstrations, one-to-one practice and an editing master class.
