The initial report on investigations into Friday's Virgin Train rail crash near Grayrigg, Cumbria is expected later today.
Groups charged with investigating the accident include British Transport Police, the Rail Accident Investigation Branch and Her Majesty's Railway Inspectorate.
Construction of the road into the accident site has begun, in preparation for removal of the rail carriages.
One woman died and several people remain in hospital with serious injuries.
