A HEART attack patient who "died" five times and was revived by a team at Westmorland General Hospital claimed that he would not have survived if he had been forced to travel to Lancaster.
John Goggins, 60, of Holme, was highly critical of plans to close the Kendal hospital to other heart attack patients, which he said could leave them with a potential death sentence.
Mr Goggins was full of praise for the actions of junior doctor Alasdair Miller and the team at WGH, who he credits with saving his life.
