SOUTH Lakeland's largest holiday park operator has been banging the drum for new tourism business at a major travel show.
South Lakeland Parks, which owns the five-star sites at Fallbarrow Park, Bowness, and White Cross Bay, at Windermere, was at the National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Leisure Show at Birmingham's NEC, which ends on Sunday (February 25).
The business believes the event broadly appeals to so-called cruiser couples, or people looking to upgrade or buy high-quality boats for cruising and luxury lodge holiday homes.
