SAMMY McIlroy has moved to ease his defensive crisis with the signature of Danny Adams on loan until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old centre-half goes straight into Morecambe's team for Saturday's Conference clash at Forest Green as skipper Jim Bentley and Ged Brannan are suspended, while Chris Blackburn is injured.
Adams joins from Huddersfield Town and also played for Macclesfield and Stockport after moving into the professional game from Altrincham. "Danny played for me at Macclesfield and he adds good experience," says McIlroy.
