CONSCIENTIOUS children at a South Lakeland primary school are helping to signpost people towards creating a greener planet after working with a nationally-renowned artist.
The Year 5 pupils at Elleray Prep-aratory School in Windermere have developed a series of signs for St Catherine's Woods Education Centre near the town.
Working in groups, the pupils produced each sign to show people how they can become environmentally friendly and live in a way that is kind to the planet.
Sustainable processes were used throughout the building of the new centre - including sheep's wool insulation, local timber and rendered straw walls.
