A NUMBER of outlets from K Village are to be relocated to a Kendal town centre premises while the popular shopping destination is redeveloped.
Plans are afoot for some of the shops to find a temporary home at the former B Wise building on Stricklandgate.
It had already been announced that the K and Clarks factory shop would move to the Stricklandgate premises while the massive work at K Village was taking place.
John Drummond, project director for Kendal Riverside Ltd, said that an agreement had been reached with Clarks for other units to share the premises. The "mini K Village" could be open from May, but which shops would have a presence there was yet to be finalised.
