Parents, staff and pupils gathered together early at school to watch the solar eclipse.
rom 8.30- 9.40 we watched the gradual progression of the eclipse, sometimes with clear views and then with glimpses through the clouds. The glasses were kindly donated by the 'George Telescope Fund'. http://www.georgetelescope.com/
Headteacher, Jo Williams commented, "We were thrilled to receive the glasses so that all our pupils could experience this amazing event. The children were very excited and many came to school early with their parents to view the full movement of the eclipse. There was a definite hush at about 9.30am as the sky grew dark and the temperature dipped."
