MORECAMBE'S proud Conference away record was shattered amid controversial scenes on Saturday when whey lkost 2-1 at Gravesend and Northfleet.

Craig Stanley levelled the game with a corking right foot shot - but the Shrimps were undone midway through the second half when Joel Ledgister volleyed home after keeper Steven Drench hesitated at a cross.
But the real moment of controversy came in first half stoppage time as Jason Walker was upended in the penalty area only to receive a yellow card for simulation.
The Shrimps had not been beaten in the league away from Christie Park since October 7.
