MORECAMBE aim to put the disappointment of Tuesday's FA Trophy exit at Stevenage Borough behind them on Saturday when they make the marathon trip to Gravesend and Northfleet for a red-hot Conference clash.
The game between the sides fourth and fifth in the table promises to be a real cracker as the Shrimps, unbeaten on their league travels since October 7, look to extinguish the memory of their miserable 3-0 extra-time loss at Broadhall Way.
Boss Sammy McIlroy is unlikely to tinker too much with the side, although returning striker Danny Carlton is likely to see some action.
He played for five minutes last Saturday in the Trophy draw with Stevenage at Christie Park and was on the bench again for Tuesday's replay, although he wasn't risked on the frozen surface.
Wayne Curtis (leg) is an absentee, as is Jamie Burns (hamstring), although he may make the travelling squad.
Morecambe (from): Drench, Yates, Blackburn, Bentley, Howard, Stanley, Sorvel, Brannan, Twiss, Hunter, Thompson, Carlton, Walker, Watt, Meadowcroft, McLachlan, Davies, Burns.
