MORECAMBE'S crunch Conference clash at Gravesend and Northfleet is expected to go ahead unless the weather takes a turn for the worse.
Heavy snow is falling in Kent but officials are confident the match will be played with a forecast for an improvement in the weather.
Morecambe secretary Neil Marsdin says: "We have been in contact and will continue to remain in contact with officials of Gravesend and Northfleet and they are conscious of the weather, but after reviewing the forecast for the next 48 hours are confident that the game should go ahead.
"However, it is unlikely that any decision on the fitness of the pitch or otherwise would be taken before the morning of the match."
