CUMBRIA Bird Club is looking for volunteers to help with a unique fieldwork survey in preparation for a new publication.
As a follow-up to its atlas, The Breeding Birds of Cumbria, the club is planning to provide an update on recent changes to bird breeding in the county.
The new publication also aims to provide an authoritative account of the status and distribution of the birds that spend the winter in the county or pass through on migration.
For more information on how you can help, see the February 9 edition of The Westmorland Gazette.
