LANDOWNERS, developers and property agents are being urged to come forward with potential business and employment sites in the Kendal area.
The plea comes from a leading property consultancy that has been tasked by the North West Development Agency (NWDA) with pinpointing the best possible locations for a high-quality, knowledge-based business park.
Knight Frank is running the rule over a number of sites before making recommend-ations to the NWDA at the end of March.
Its findings will then be fed into a new planning blueprint - called the local development framework - for the area, being drawn up by South Lakeland District Council (SLDC).
Staff from the consultancy's Manchester office, together with Arup and Carigiet Cowan, are working on the project on behalf of the NWDA, along with SLDC and Cumbria Vision.
Anyone wanting to suggest a possible business site should telephone Mr Stafford on 0161-833-0023 before February 23.
