STEVENAGE boss Mark Stimson blasted the standard of Conference officials after Saturday's Christie Park FA Trophy draw finished with players from both sides brawling on the pitch.
Stimson's frustrated players were fuming after Garry Thompson earned the Shrimps a draw with a stoppage time penalty, which appeared contentious as Barry Fuller was penalised for handball.
"What we had out on the field was two professional sides who train every day and try to put on a spectacle for the spectators," raged Stimson.
"The game was a fantastic advertisement for the Conference - yet we have someone in the middle who is an amateur.
"To say I am not happy about the penalty decision is an understatement. Morecambe have a replay because of that decision - but sadly there is no point talking to the ref about it."
