Grasmere to host First World War exhibition
MEMBERS of Grasmere History Group have pulled together a special First World War exhibition which will be unveiled at the Wordsworth Trust on Saturday November 15, at 2pm.
"Grasmere and the Great War" explore's the conflict's impact on the village, its community and landscape.
It also tells the stories of the 125 men and women who served and those who "kept the home fires" burning.
