Firefighters called to Windermere chimney fire
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a chimney fire in Windermere yesterday (October 27).
Crews were called to Park Road at 7.17pm where a chimney was on fire on a hearth.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue removed the fire from the hearth to the open air and used small tools and hose reel tubing to extinguish the flames within the chimney.
