CARNFORTH councillors are hoping to enhance the town’s festive cheer with a best decorated house for Christmas competition.
Local Schoolchildren will be invited to design a poster, with the winning design displayed in October. Once townsfolk have registered their entry, a trail will be produced to help locals and tourists find the town’s most festively illuminated homes.
The winners will be announced on December 3 at Carnforth’s Christmas lights switch-on.
