PLANS for a 45-metre-high wind turbine at the Borwick Fishing site, Over Kellet, have been given the green light by Lancaster City Council planners.
Despite the application generating 28 letters of objection, citing issues such as inappropriate location and scale, noise pollution, loss of views and effect on ecology, biodiversity and geo-diversity, including at nearby Leighton Moss RSPB reserve, planners decided to grant permission for the wind turbine.
