SELSIDE Church Council organised an afternoon tea party at the memorial hall to commemorate the centenary of World War One.
The hall was decked with bunting and poppies and there was a display of memorabilia.
Simon Elliot judged the Jam Competition and a tradional tea of sandwiches and cakes was held.
The event raised £500 for St Thomas’s Church.
