A JAMES Cropper employee suffered minor injuries in an industrial incident on Tuesday (April 22).
The 47-year-old man, from Kendal, was taken to RVI but following assessment his injuries were not as serious as first thought, although it is believed he suffered bruising to his arm.
A company spokesperson for the Burneside paper mill said: “There was a safety incident on Tuesday April 22 involving a James Cropper employee within the paper manufacturing department.
“Whilst no serious injury was sustained the company treats all incidents very seriously and is fully investigating."
