Vale of Lune enter the second half of the North Two West season with a few nervous glances over their shoulder.
Seventh place in the table, five wins from twelve games, places them on the fringes of the dreaded relegation zone. Eight points separate Vale from the bottom club Stoke-on-Trent, unfortunately at the moment the Potteries side look destined for the drop, but the fate of the four clubs below the Vale however, is far from a done deal.
Vale are away at Wilmslow, three points behind, on Saturday.
