KENDAL’S Queen Katherine School had a busy run up to Christmas.
The school’s key stage four production of Dick Whittington was the penultimate performing arts event before the autumn term finished in festive style with the QKS Christmas Music Concert at Kendal Parish Church.
Head of performing arts Caroline Barber said more students than ever before had been involved in performing during the final term of 2013.
Highlights included the QKS Performing Arts Festival, the key stage five production of Jim Cartwright's Two, the school’s Dance Evening, and out and about with Manband, who have performed at Carlisle Cathedral and the Kendal Christmas lights switch-on.
