PUPILS from an Eden primary school became the first to be entertained at the J36 auction mart.
Sixteen children, accompanied by staff and governors from Ravenstonedale Endowed Primary School, were given a tour, introduced to auctioneers and looked on as cows were sold in one ring and calves in another.
They then went on to learn about selling furniture and antiques.
