WALKERS taking photographs prompted an hour-and-a-half rescue operation last night.
Two members of Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team turned out to Red Screes on Kirkstone Pass after reports of flashing lights on the crags.
But the incident, at 9pm, turned out to be nothing more than walkers taking photographs.
The two team members had spent one-and-a-half hours searching.
