MOUNTAIN rescuers were called out after a woman slipped and fractured her leg on Copt Howe.
Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team members attended the incident at around 2.45pm today, on the fell at Great Langdale.
They treated the woman at the scene before evacuating her to an ambulance at the roadside.
It took 13 team members two hours.
