A WOMAN was rescued from a Coniston beauty spot on Saturday after a fall.
Fourteen members of Coniston Mountain Rescue Team helped the woman, who was not local, after she fell while descending Goats Hawse at about 4pm.
She was treated for a lower leg injury at the scene by paramedics from the North West Air Ambulance and team members before being stretchered to the top of Goats Hawse for the awaiting helicopter, and taken to Furness General Hospital.
