Florence Bessie Metcalfe of Sedbergh, formerly of New House, Cautley, passed away peacefully at Royal Lancaster Infirmary on 6th November 2024, aged 94 years. Beloved wife of the late John, loving mum of Ann, Joan, Linda and Brenda, cherished mother-in-law, nana and great-nana.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will take place at Cornerstone Community Church, New Street, Sedbergh on Monday 18th November at 11.30am followed by burial in Sedbergh Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired will be shared between Cancer Research UK, The MS Society and The British Heart Foundation.
