Alan passed away peacefully on 3rd November at RLI aged 81 with Vanessa by his side. Beloved partner of Gwen. Brother of Juliette, June and the late Desmond and Margaret, a special uncle and a friend to many.

Funeral service to take place at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Wednesday 20th November at 12.30pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Bay Hospital’s Charity to be used by the Rapid Response Nurses. All enquiries and donations to Hayes and Parkinson Ltd.

I have know Alan since our school days, we were in the same class at Kendal Boys' Modern School. He received a prize at the leavers service for the longest unbroken attendance of 4 years. He never missed a day. I think that summed up Alans character and a nicer person you could not wish to meet.
