BATTY Jean Whiteford (nee Cowper) Jean's family are saddened to announce the passing of Jean Batty, beloved mother of Jean, Jennifer and Alison, aged 97 in Heron Hill Care Home. She passed away peacefully with family at her bedside. Widowed on the death of her dear husband Eric in 2007, Jean leaves behind three daughters, three sons-in-law, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The funeral will take place at Beetham Hall Crematorium at 12.30pm on Friday, 20th September, followed by a light lunch at Crooklands Hotel. Further details Hayes & Parkinson, Kendal
