GRAVES John Wilson **In Loving Memory of Captain John Wilson Graves** It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John on 31st July 2024 at Treliske, Cornwall. Born on 15th January 1940, John spent the majority of his life in Silverdale, Glasson Dock, Morecambe, Overton, and, latterly, Probus, Cornwall, when not at sea. John served with distinction in the Merchant Navy, earning the rank of Captain and enjoying a full career. He will be fondly remembered for his unwavering dedication to his home, family, and friends. He leaves behind his brother Arthur, daughter Lynne, son Ralph, grandchildren Zac & Nat and former wife Susan. A service to celebrate John's life will be held on 29th August, 11am at All Saints Church, Underbarrow. Friends and family are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Church, where his father John and mother Vera rest. John will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
