WRAY John Nowell John of Sunderland Bridge, Durham, formerly of Wray, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday 17th July 2024, aged 93 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret, much loved dad, grandad and great-grandad, special brother, uncle and father-in-law and a good friend to all who knew him. John who was a gentle man will be sadly missed by all his loving family, relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Wray on Thursday 1st August at 12 o'clock, midday followed by interment in the churchyard.
