MERRICK Anthony (Tony) On 7th June, passed away peacefully at home aged 88. Cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a much loved friend to all. A magnificent character and true gentleman who had a huge impact on everyone around him. Funeral service, a celebration and thanksgiving of his wonderful life, to be held at Hawkshead Church on Wednesday 26th of June 2024 at 10:30am. Family request bright colours to be worn. So sorry to hear the very sad news of Tony’s passing. I have very happy memories of playing dominoes and enjoying a pint or two with Tony, Richard Shelton, Dave Vaughan and Bill Barr in the Queens Head. I recall my late father Jack Kewley enjoyed his company when he was a member of the Queens Head golf society. My thoughts are with Kim and family at the very sad time. Mike Kewley
