ATKINSON James Dennis Dennis died peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on the morning of 17th March, aged 74 years. He was born in Kirkby Lonsdale on 2nd August 1949 and lived in the locality of Crooklands his entire life. He was a devoted husband, dad, grandad, brother and friend. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of over 50 years, Sandra, their 3 children, Toby, Kris and Oliver and their partners Gemma, Callie and Sara. 'Gaga' will also be sorely missed by his grandchildren, Isabelle, Mae and Freddie, whom he adored and his siblings Mike and Janet and their families. Thank you to James Cochrane Practice at Helme Chase and Specialist nurses for their care and support. The Funeral service will be held at St. Patrick's Church, Preston Patrick on Friday 5th April at 2pm. Additional parking, where needed, will be adjacent to the Memorial Hall at Preston Patrick. The wake to follow at the Crooklands Hotel. Donations to Cancer Research UK and The British Heart Foundation would be welcome and can be made online via fishwicksfunerals.co.uk.
