SMYTHE Anthony George Tony died peacefully, at Heron Hill Care Home on 24th February 2024, aged 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Sonia, much loved father of Simon and Anne, grandfather to Bartley, Sydney, Albert and Edward, dear brother to Richard and the late John and uncle to Ruth, Hugh, Andy, Sarah and Zoë. Will be very much missed by family and friends and those that knew him as a potter, climber, writer and lecturer. The funeral service will be held at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Monday 18th March at 11am. All welcome.
