REES Vivienne BEM REES Vivienne June Cassandra passed away peacefully on 4th February 2024 at Dudwell St Mary's care home in East Sussex, aged 92 years. A passionate and involved Grasmere inhabitant for 60 years, sister to Eve, beloved wife to Jim for 53 years, wonderful mother to Alison and Bernard, grandmother to Andrew, Sam and Fred and great grandmother to Nora and Agnes, she was a dedicated History teacher and Sixth Form Head at the Lakes School, District Councillor and campaigner for the community. A service in celebration of her life will be held in Grasmere Church on Thursday 22nd February at 12 noon. Family flowers only, donations to Grasmere Village Hall. Enquiries 015395 63108.
