MACKIE Melvin (Mel) Died at home on 6th November, aged 87 years. A much loved husband, father and grandpa. Formerly of Edinburgh and now Kirkby Lonsdale. He was the proud and happy owner of the Pheasant Inn, Casterton 1992-2003. Meddling in politics and entertaining many with his "Address to a Haggis." He requested no funeral service, just memories.
